A2X & Automation

A2X is a third-party app that takes payout data from sales channels such as Amazon and Shopify and turns each payout into a summary of sales, fees, refunds and taxes that can be posted to QuickBooks. We set it up for your business so that each posted payout can be matched to the deposit in your bank account.

What the setup can include

• Connecting your sales channels to A2X, and A2X to QuickBooks
• Mapping sales, fees, refunds and taxes to the right accounts in your chart of accounts
• Reviewing the first payout summaries before they are posted
• Checking the first posted payouts against the deposits in your bank account

Setup does not replace ongoing bookkeeping

A2X works with the data your sales channels provide and the account mapping it is given. It reduces manual data entry, but it does not make the books correct on its own. After setup, the summaries still need to be reviewed, posted and reconciled with the bank every month. That ongoing work is part of monthly bookkeeping or eCommerce accounting, quoted separately.

How it works

1. Send us a message on WhatsApp with the sales channels you use and whether A2X is already connected.
2. We look at your sales channels, the QuickBooks file and how payouts are recorded today. If a call is easier, we can arrange one.
3. We confirm the scope and the price before any work starts.
4. We complete the setup, check the first payouts and tell you about anything that still needs attention.

How the price is set

This work is quoted individually. The price depends on how many sales channels and currencies are involved, the condition of the QuickBooks file and whether earlier payouts also need to be brought into the books. We review your setup and quote before work begins.

This service covers setting up and checking the A2X connection. Ongoing bookkeeping, bringing earlier periods up to date and preparing business tax returns are separate services, quoted separately.
